Del Mar Fair:
The Del Mar Fairgrounds is a 370-acre event venue in Del Mar, California. The annual San Diego County Fair is held here, which was called the Del Mar Fair from 1984 to 2001. In 1936, the Del Mar Racetrack was built by the Thoroughbred Club with founding member Bing Crosby providing leadership. Adventure awaits at the 2023 San Diego County Fair––“Get Out There!” to explore the great outdoors and get s’more of what life has to offer Wednesday, June 7 through Tuesday, July 4 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. La Mesa Car Show:
The 29th Annual La Mesa Classic Car Show & Live Music Event rolls into downtown La Mesa beginning June 1st through August 31, every Thursday from 5 – 8 pm. Visitors can stroll down La Mesa Blvd. to see beautiful pre-1974 cars, trucks, and vans (located between 4th St. – Spring St.). Listen to live music every week from local bands that play from 5 – 8 pm! This is a FREE, family-friendly community event! Come out and celebrate summer with family & friends. And, be sure to dine, shop & explore all that La Mesa Village has to offer while you’re here!
Lake Murray 4th of July Fireworks and Music Fest:
Food, Music and Fireworks! This event has brought this community together every July 4th, and is a great opportunity for all of us to celebrate our independence together. The music fest will be at Lake Murray Community Park in San Carlos and the fireworks can be seen throughout the Navajo community, from La Mesa to Del Cerro and beyond. Don’t miss out. Be part of the team that brings this event back to our neighborhood each year!
