Neil Fjellestad of FBS to Speak in Utah at 2013 Fair Housing Education Conference

Carol Levey, Bill Nye and Neil Fjellestad are among the line-up of National Apartment Association’s respected speakers to address attendees at the 2013 Fair Housing Education Conference and Trade Show. The host for this conference and trade show is the Utah Apartment Association www.uaahq.org

“Since more than one third of Utah’s households pay rent instead of a mortgage it’s important that as service providers those of us that work in the multi-housing industry understand our customers as well as our property. We need to communicate better during the initial leasing presentation, thoroughly explaining the lease documentation, positively responding to service requests and initiating the renewal process earlier,” says Carol Levey who is one of the originators of the National Apartment Association Leasing Professional course work and designation. She continues – “What our service technicians do on a daily basis creates customer loyalty. The management and service teams should realize that fair housing and consumer laws surround our communications and activities. Professionals learn how to communicate customer service while staying inside the law as well.”

“An effective onsite team can actually increase the real estate value of the apartment community,” says Neil Fjellestad who operates small rental properties in southern California and has provided advisory services for industry clientele in over 60 major metro markets throughout 29 states.
